Knives Out: Whodunit worth watching!

Knives out starring Daniel Craig, Christopher Plummer et all comes as a whiff of good old air, the types of classic whodunits the likes of Agatha Christie made famous.
Visualize this: An old mansion in the countryside, the millionnaire owner a crime author himself celebrating his 85th birthday.
Sons, daughters and grandchildren have all gathered there on the occasion. Each one has had some dispute or the other with the patriarch of the family. So there are many suspects and on the very night, the old man is found dead with his throat slit. There is a kind-hearted and a little nervous caretaker nurse, the heroine of the film in the middle of all this.
The Police suspect its a case of suicide but the private detective who persists.

There are the usual cops and a cryptic Private detective played with panache by Daniel Craig in an investigative thriller where he need not get jump roofs, crash through glass nor use his license-to-kill like he does in James Bond flicks. But that's not a pity though.

There are many clues to the night of the crime and some very clever twists and turns till the very end. The Director and his crew keep us on the edge of the seat each with a stellar performance.

Excellent outing if you are in the mood for such classic murder mysteries.

Rating:4/5 no hesitation whatsoever
